Year of the Winter Mother: Snow Rabbit Cometh!

It’s the great Yule- Tide Season!!! At Glitter Pots, we celebrate Sam-Yule until December 21!! However, during traditional Yule, in the past, millions of people’s ancestors beliefs takes back these traditions for the Oak King and Sonne Goddess to enhance our traditions rather than hoping to cover over others with purposeless materialism. From 333 B.C. all the way into the 19th the tradition of 21st century those offerings were made "to earth, air and sea" by traditions kept over the centuries as a sign of allegiance to the Sun.

Many other Irish, Celts and Visigoths kept the traditions alive throughout centuries in Germanic and now Western families. From the time when time was new, Glitter Pots has created a series of custom items to commemorate these ancient but not lost, times before when there were only forests, Kingdoms, dragons, wizards, sorcerers and elfinly good magick!

If you or your family worked with particular tools of the trade, these would often be used as part of the season. Join Glitter Pots for sneak peeks of new updates!

Charm Jars For Candle Magick!

Traditional folk magic often incorporates jar spells, often known as bottle spells or bottle charms. There are other uses for this type of magic besides baneful ones, even though it commonly involves good intent along with undoing ancient familial curses. For instance, casting love and attraction spells can come in the form of the classic honey jar spell. Or a New Year‘a Charm Jar could bring Good Luck!

CLASSIC NEW YEAR CHARM:

Include your choice of these healing herbs:

Whole cloves, mint leaves, whole Basil or Laurel Leaf, cinnamon sticks, Nettle, St. John’s Wort, Creeping Jenny ivy, sea salt, an air-tight jar with cork lid, and 1 orange candle for stimulating your mental energy.

Consider the purpose of each ingredient as you stack the ingredients in the jar in the order in which they will be used.
After you have sealed the jar, you should next light an orange candle on top of it.
